Honor confirms commitment for open collaboration in AI space

Honor Alpha Plan, introduced on Sunday, has now revealed more details about the company’s plans in the AI world.

James Li attended two panels during MWC 2025 where he revealed that Honor will push for open cooperation in artificial intelligence. He also spoke about a white paper that was recently published on protecting user data, and the five principles that his company intends follow.

Honor’s executive emphasized that the world is entering a physical AI age. The industry must work together to create a platform that will allow a wide range of devices to be used in daily life.

For instance, seamless connections between phones and vehicles and homes as well as wearables that provide personalized health insights would be a step in the right directions. James Li said that this would require “unified AI connectivity standards and solutions”to be implemented.

It sounds great in theory but only time will tell if it will be implemented beyond the discussion rooms at congress centers.
