JD.com launched its intelligent robots division. Last week, JD.com completed strategic investments in three companies that specialize in embodied intelligence: Spirit AI (also known as embodied intelligence), LimX Dynamics (also known as embodied intelligent), and EngineAI. In May, JD joined a new round of funding for AgiBot. This was a joint investment with the Shanghai Embodied Intelligence Fund (SAIC) and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC). JD presented its upgraded large model JoyAI at the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. It also introduced a new embodied Intelligence brand, JoyInside.
