AqlanXis a UAE-based artificial intelligent firm that has raised $10 million in order to accelerate its mission of localizing and expanding the proven enterprise automation capabilities DoxAI throughout the Middle East.
Lakeba Group provided the funding through their venture DoxAI. This was facilitated by connections fostered through the UAE’s NextGen-FDI initiative.

AqlanX, as part of UAE-Made Arabic-first AI Technologies, focuses on automating processes, improving operational efficiency, and transforming document management for large enterprises. The roadmap of the company is closely aligned with UAE’s digital economy and innovation strategy, positioning the country as a hub for AI-driven ventures. AqlanX, with its expertise and intellectual property from DoxAI and strategic capital provided by Lakeba Ventures is positioned to be a regional leader in enterprise AI.
With Lakeba and DoxAI as our backers, AqlanX will be able to deliver Arabic AI that is world-class and born in the UAE. Demetrio Russo is the Founder and CEO at AqlanX. “We are building an innovation center that reflects this region’s ambitions and empowers its businesses to lead globally,” he said. AqlanX DoxAI Lakeba also formed a partnership with University of Wollongong Dubai (UOWD), to establish an AI Centre of Excellence. This initiative will cultivate local AI talent, research and innovation in the UAE.
