According to a recent report, AI startup Anthropic has been working on voice capabilities for Claude, its AI-powered bot.
Mike Krieger is the company’s chief products officer. Anthropic will launch experiences that let users talk to Anthropic AI models, according to the Financial Times (19459036).
Krieger said, “We’re doing some work on how Claude for desktop will evolve[… ]if [speak to it]it is going[speak to it]to operate your computer. A more natural user interface may be[speak to it],” Krieger stated. “We will do internal voice […] as it is a useful mode to have.” We have prototypes.” The Financial Times reports that no deals have yet been finalized.
Krieger said to the publication that Anthropic had been in discussions with “a bunch” of partners to possibly speed up the launch a voice experience.
