The updated Xbox homescreen will allow you to access your favorite games faster. According to Microsofthas announced that Xbox Insiders will receive three new customization options this week. These options will allow them to make their dashboards feel more personal. Xbox Wiredetails how certain Xbox users can reduce clutter by bringing their favorite games up to the top of the list.
First, you can now pin up to three favorite apps or games to the Recently-Played list. These will stay at the top of your list, even if you occasionally launch other apps. Xbox will also have the option to “Hide System Apps” to reduce clutter and hide those less important shortcuts. Xbox will introduce “Reduce Tile Count” to further streamline your homescreen. This feature allows you to set how many tiles are visible in the list of recently opened apps and games. Xbox players will be able to create a cleaner homepage with these new features. This will allow their dynamic backgrounds to shine more. Eden Marie, principal software engineer of Xbox Experiences wrote on Xbox’s Blog. Microsoft has confirmed that these features will be available first to Alpha Skip-Ahead users and Alpha consoles.
