  • Eurocom Raptor X17 is a laptop designed for AI, cybersecurity and high-end simulations.
  • A 17.3″ monster with advanced cooling features.
  • With 128GB of RAM, heavy workloads are no problem.

Eurocom is known for its powerful, but expensive laptops such as the Sky X4C.

The Eurocom’s Raptor X17 configuration pagesays that its new laptop was designed for professionals who handle intensive workloads, such as AI tool training, cybersecurity and large-scale simulators.

The Intel Core i9-14900HX is at its core, a 24-core processor with 32 threads, designed for exceptional computing power. The Intel HM770 PCIe 4.0 Architecture enables high-speed processing of data.

Nvidia’s RTX mobile GPU, with 9,728 CUDA Cores and 304 Tensor AI Cores, is featured in the Raptor X17. The RTX 4090M is still one of the most powerful graphics cards for mobile devices, despite the absence of a RTX5090M.

Users have the option to configure storage with RAID 0, 1 or 5, optimizing speed, redundancy or a combination of both. The laptop supports up to 128GB DDR5 RAM with speeds of up to 5600MHz to ensure smooth performance for memory intensive applications.

Eurocom provides two display options, a 17.3″ QHD (2560×1440) panel that has a refresh rate of 240Hz or a UHD option (3840×2160) with a refresh rate of 144Hz.

Although the chassis is made of an aluminum-magnesium metal alloy, it still weighs 3.29 kg, and measures 24.9 mm in thickness. It is heavier, but it is a good choice for those who value ruggedness and power.

This business laptop has two Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 ports, three USB A ports, HDMI 2.0 and dual Mini DisplayPorts 1.4. It has a 2.5GbE Ethernet built-in port, with support for an extra LAN connection via Thunderbolt 4 as well.

Eurocom has integrated a cooling system that prevents thermal throttling to maintain peak performance even under heavy workloads. The laptop comes with a 780W adapter.

The Eurocom Raptor X17, with a starting price at $12,000, makes Apple’s most expensive MacBook Pro M4 Max seem reasonable in comparison. This mobile workstation is an excellent option for users who require extreme performance and configuration.
