Xiaomi will launch the 15 Ultra in China this month. It’s expected that the global unveiling of the device will take place at MWC in Barcelona, at the beginning or March.
A new leak today gives us the RAM, color, and storage versions for the global version – again. The details are different from those we heard in January about the exact same subject. The 15 Ultra will reportedly come in two RAM/storage options: 12/256GB or 12/512GB. There won’t be a single 16/512GB configuration.
This is less RAM than what you might have expected from a non-Samsung Android manufacturer. The Chinese Xiaomi 15 Ultra is only available in 16GB/512GB or 16GB/1TB versions.
According to the latest leak, the phone will be available in black, white, green, and black globally. However, previous leaks mentioned silver, along with black and black. The specs of the international model “likely” are identical to the Chinese device except for the RAM/storage differences. The global model will be more expensive than the Chinese version due to the logistics and taxes.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite is used in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. It is expected to have a QHD+ LTPO screen and four rear cameras, including a 200 MP periscope telephoto and a short-range telephoto. Rumors vary in size from 5,400mAh to 6,000mAh. We hope that it will be the latter. The battery can charge up to 90W with wires, and 50W wirelessly. The phone will run HyperOS 2.0.0 based on Android 15 by default.
