Samsung released the Galaxy S25 Edge last May. Since then, there have been a number of rumors claiming that the Galaxy S26 Edge, which will be available in January, will replace the Plus in Samsung’s line-up.
A new rumor today from Chinese leaker Ice Universe says we can expect some interesting changes in the next Edge. It’s also said to be thinner than its predecessor, the 5.8mm Edge, and have a larger battery.
“new battery material technology”will make it possible to use a bigger cell. This may immediately make you think of Si/C. It could be, but we’ll just have to wait and watch.
It’s good news that Samsung is working to alleviate the main issue of the S25 Edge with its successor. The device’s 3,900mAh battery allows it to be thin, but it doesn’t make it very reliable in everyday use.
