If you’ve been admiring the RTX 5000 cards but haven’t had the stomach for the price tag, Nvidia now has a product that will suit you.

Nvidia officially announced its latest generation of GeForce RTX graphics cards, the RTX5060 Family. This new family will bring the cutting-edge Blackwell Architecture and its suites of advancements to a wider audience of gamers.

An initial offering will include a higher-end RTX-5060 Ti variant. A more accessible model, RTX-5060, is scheduled to be released next month. This new lineup is set to transform standard PCs into high-performance gaming systems, incorporating the latest graphics technologies and delivering significant performance improvements. The first offering in the series is available in two memory configurations: 16GB or 8GB graphics memories, catering to a variety of performance requirements and budget considerations.

GeForce RTX RTX5060 Ti will start at A$719 ($379 for 8GB RAM or US$429 16GB RAM), whereas the RTX5060 will begin at US$299 ($379 for eight GB RAM or US$429 16GB) (AU pricing is yet to be announced). These cards are not the flagship 5090 series but they do not have the $4,000 price.

There is still a lot to offer with the 5060 cards, including:

Next-Generation Deep Learning Super Sampling and Multi Frame Generation This advanced rendering technique, which leverages the power of artificial Intelligence and the Blackwell Architecture, can generate multiple frames per conventionally rendered frame. This results in a significant increase in the frame rate within supported game titles.

This new technology, in conjunction with Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction and other technologies, is designed to deliver a visual experience perceived as superior to native, resulting in enhanced image clarity and smoother gaming.

Enhanced Ray Tracing Technology.
A new generation of dedicated hardware to accelerate ray tracing provides improved performance and efficiency in rendering scenes with realistic lighting.

By optimising the handling of complex geometric details, games can now feature more realistic and intricate ray-traced settings.

Latest Generation Tensor Cores (
) These specialized processors form the foundation of Neural Rendering, and introduce support for a new data format. They accelerate artificial intelligence-powered features further and may enable innovative visual enhancements in games.

Artificial Intelligence Management Processor (AIMP)
This processor, a newly integrated hardware scheduler in the Blackwell architecture enables the graphics processor to simultaneously accelerate generative AI models and render graphics. This advancement opens the door to future developments such as real-time in game asset generation and AI-driven functionality.

The latest GeForce family brings the revolutionary Blackwell Architecture and the transformative abilities of our advanced rendering technologies to even more players. These graphics cards will redefine mainstream gaming by delivering exceptional performance, visual fidelity, and a new level of performance.
