NVIDIA plans to establish a new R&D centre in Shanghai to maintain its leadership in AI Chips amid growing sales challenges. According to sources, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, proposed the plan at a recent meeting between Mayor Gong Zheng and Jensen Huang. The company is leasing a new office to accommodate its current staff and to allow for future growth. The new center will tailor solutions for Chinese customers while contributing to global R&D.
