This smart lighting solution stands out by delivering unique tri-color illumination effects alongside traditional white lighting options. Users benefit from a rich selection of over 100 preset lighting scenes accessible via the Govee Home app, adjustable brightness levels, and seamless integration with the Matter smart home standard.
Available now in the US, the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism comes in three different lengths to suit various outdoor spaces: 100 feet with 36 LED units, 150 feet featuring 54 LEDs, and a 200-foot option containing 72 LEDs. These options provide flexibility for both small patios and expansive yards.
Pricing for the series ranges from $539.99 for the shortest string to $859 for the longest, with purchases available through Govee’s official website and major retailers such as Amazon.
What sets the Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism apart is its distinctive light sources capable of producing triple-color effects, a feature rarely seen in outdoor string lighting. Users can select from a palette of 16 million colors or opt for white light with adjustable color temperatures spanning from a warm 2,700K to a cool 6,500K. Each bulb emits 60 lumens and supports dimming for customized ambiance.
The Govee Home app enhances user experience by offering more than 100 pre-programmed lighting scenes, including dynamic modes that synchronize with music. Additionally, the app incorporates an AI-powered lighting assistant that helps users craft personalized lighting effects effortlessly. Thanks to Matter protocol compatibility, these lights can be integrated smoothly with a wide range of smart home ecosystems, including voice control via Alexa and Google Assistant.
Engineered for outdoor resilience, the lights boast an IP68 waterproof rating, ensuring reliable performance in harsh weather conditions. They are designed to operate efficiently within a temperature range of -22°F to 140°F (-30°C to 60°C) and have an expected lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. For convenience, the strings come equipped with pre-drilled mounting screws and adhesive strips, simplifying installation on various surfaces.
While currently exclusive to the US market, Govee has yet to announce plans for expanding the Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism availability to European countries or other regions.
