AI has become the new gold rush in tech. Everyone has an AI assistant on their device, and they are getting smarter. DeepSeek, a newcomer, is the frontrunner at the moment. It’s the first choice of a few smartphone manufacturers.
First Huawei announced that DeepSeek would be integrated into its cloud services. Now Honor has revealed that DeepSeek will be integrated directly into its YOYO intelligent assistant in China. Oppo’s Find N5 is also set to feature DeepSeek. Honor smartphones running MagicOS 8.0 or higher can upgrade to the DeepSeek R1 model. Users must have YOYO 80.0.1.503 version or higher. They can then wake up their smartphone, swipe up to enter the “AI agent” area, and select DeepSeek R1.
Honor claims that DeepSeek will enhance the capabilities of its assistant with deep thinking, intelligent interactions, and personalized service.
