Google is expanding Veo 3, its cutting-edge AI video creator, to more countries. This much-anticipated rollout allows more people to tap into the power AI in order to create stunning videos with synchronized sound.
Veo 3 is a significant step forward in AI video creation, showcasing its ability to generate not only visuals but also natural-sounding dialog, background noise and music from simple text prompts. This integration of audio into the generation process produces a much more immersive and realistic output. Text-to-Video With Native Audio The silent AI-generated video days are over. Veo 3 transforms your text prompts to rich, realistic videos, which include sound effects, ambient sounds, and even character dialog that is perfectly lip-synced. This opens up an entirely new world of immersive storytelling.
Cinematic Camera Motions Take full control of your virtual cameras. Veo 3 features a wide range of cinematic camera angles and movements, from dynamic zooms to fluid tracking shots. This allows users to create videos that look professional without needing filmmaking expertise. Consistent Characters
Consistent Objects Maintaining consistency in AI video creation has been a difficult task. Veo 3 takes on this challenge head-on by ensuring that characters and objects are consistent across all generated clips. This is true even if you use reference images. The result? A more cohesive narrative.
Prompt Based Editing and Control. Do not settle for the first results. Veo 3 allows for fine-tuning your videos by providing additional prompts. You can use your body, voice, and face as references to animate or remove unwanted objects.
Josh Woodward shared more details about the expansion.
Gemini Pro users will receive a Veo 3 trial pack on the web soon (mobile soon), and Gemini Ultra users will get the most Veo 3 generations with refreshes. http://flow.google (): Pro: now 125 Gens/month. Ultra: up from 83.
Google admits that there are issues, but they wanted to get the product in consumers’ hands as soon as possible.
The ability to produce audio along with video is one of the major changes in Gemini’s VEO3 Text-to-Video model. Google currently only supports English audio output.
Gemini VEO3 Testing
Since I already pay Google One for 2TB of backup photos, I get Gemini Pro/Advanced as part of the monthly cost. After reading this post, I wanted to test it out. So, I asked Grok (sorry Gemini), for a prompt. Here’s what it came up with.
Create an audio-synchronized 10-second cinematic clip set in a vibrant, futuristic city. The scene shows a young woman wearing a silver jumpsuit and neon-blue short hair walking confidently down a busy street with holographic billboards. In the background, a lively electronic music track is played with subtle sound effects such as drones humming and distant city chatter. She smiles a little bit as she looks at a holographic advert displaying a robot dancing. The camera zooms in to capture her expression and then pans out to show a cityscape glistening with neon lights. Make sure the visuals and audio are crisp with realistic lighting, and that the dialogue is clear. The aspect ratio of the video should be 16:9 to avoid any distortions.
Initially, I searched for VEO under the model dropdown menu in Gemini but found nothing. After visiting Flow, however, I was able select Veo 3 in the quality settings menu at the top-right prompt. It wasn’t intuitive, but it worked.
It will create two variants of the video by default, each generation using 100 AI credits. You’ll want to be careful before you use them, as Pro users only get 1,000 credits per month.
Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US can purchase additional AI credits for US$1,000. Credits are $10 for every 1,000.
This video is impressive (see below), especially the inclusion of voice, as instructed by prompt.
The video was generated in seconds and downloaded in 720p. However, exporting a 1080 version took several minutes. Let us know what you think in the comments. The Veo3 video that results
We’re rolling out Veo 3 today in 71 countries *and* allowing Pro subscribers to test it. We can’t WAIT to see and hear what you create.
