In the last few weeks the price of the Realme GT 7 Pro fluctuated – it was typically EUR800 or slightly more. It has now dropped below the EUR800 mark.
The first Snapdragon 8 Elite to reach Europe, this phone offers great value. The powerful chipset comes with a 6.78″ LTPO (1264p+) display (1264Hz, 10-bit). The best cameras on a GT smartphone yet, with a 50MP primary (1/1.56″) camera, a 50MP 3x Telephoto (73mm), and an 8MP Ultra-Wide. The GT series battery is typical – it’s large (6,500mAh), and supports 120W rapid charging. The phone is also IP69 rated, so it’s quite durable.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro is powered by an older, but still high-end Dimensity 8300+ chipset. The 6.67″ OLED panel is not LTPO, but it has 12-bit colors with a 144Hz rate of refresh. We’re looking at three cameras: a 50MP (1/1.31″) main camera, a 50MP 60mm (2.65x) telephoto, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide. The 5,000mAh battery is a powerhouse with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless.
Huawei nova 13 or 13 Pro comes with a pair of Huawei Freebuds 5 for free. The vanilla phone comes with a 6.7″ OLED 1084p+ display (10-bit 120Hz) and 50+8MP cameras, plus a 60MP selfie camera. The battery is a 5,020mAh cell with fast charging at 100W (3-50% in just 10 minutes).
The Huawei nova 13 pro builds on this with a higher quality 6.76″LTPO OLED (1224p+) (10-bit, 120Hz), and the addition a 12MP telephoto (69mm). Also, the 50MP camera gets variable aperture (f/1.4 to 4.0) and OIS. This feature is not available on the vanilla model. The front has a 60MP 100deg camera, accompanied by an 8MP 2-x (52mm), portrait-oriented lens.
Both the Poco X7 Pro and X7 have 6.67″ OLED panels with 12-bit color (120Hz) and the same cameras – 50MP main (1/1.95″), and 8MP ultra wide (forget the 2MP macro of the X7). The Pro model is distinguished by a faster chipset (Dimensity 7300 Ultra vs. UFS 2.2), faster storage (UFS 4.x vs. UFS 2.x) and better waterproofing (IP69 vs.IP68). It also has a larger battery (6,000mAh vs. 5110mAh) and faster charging (90W – 100% in 42 minutes vs.45W – 100% in 52 minutes).
The Poco F6 is a standout with its Snapdragon 8s Gen processor at just over EUR300. It comes with 8GB of RAM and fast UFS 4.0 Storage. The display is a 6.67″ panel that features 12-bit colors, Dolby vision, 1220p+ resolution, and Gorilla Glass Victus. The camera is less high-end, with a 50MP (1/1.95″) main and 8MP ultra wide. The 5,000mAh battery is capable of 90W fast charging (2-100% within 35 minutes). The phone is rated IP64. (dust tight and basic water resistance).
