ChatGPT is increasingly being used worldwide in the culinary sector. This can be positive, as some examples show. However, the human factor continues to play an important role.

In Dubai it is evident that ChatGPT can also be successful in culinary terms. Restaurant and supply chain Dodo Pizza asked AI to develop new pizza variants – and one of them became a best seller. “The pizza became a huge hit and is still on the menu,” Spartak Arutyunyan, who leads menu development for Dodo Pizza’s Dubai branch, told the BBC.
AI as a creative culinary stimulus
