If you have been using Apple’s AI tools for crafting a Facebook post, or to generate a custom Emoji to add to an Instagram Story, you may be out of luck. As reported by According toSorcererhat Tech (via9to5Mac), Apple Intelligence is not functional on Meta’s iOS applications, including Facebook Instagram WhatsApp or Threads. Engadget confirmed that Apple Intelligence was not working in the apps as of the writing.
At the moment, Apple Intelligence features like Genmoji (which includes text generation and proofreading) are not working in Meta’s app. In the past, Instagram Stories allowed users to add keyboard stickers and Memoji. This is no longer possible. Meta may have done this.
App developers can opt out of Apple Intelligence for their iOS apps. It may be trying to encourage people to use Meta AI tools on Facebook and other sites. Engadget contacted Meta and Apple to get their comments.
