Adobe’s Firefly AI video creation tool allows anyone to subscribe and create content with just a few simple prompts.
Adobe’s tool is robust and depending on what you are looking for, it could be a good alternative to stock videos. You can create custom smoke or fire effects on a greenscreen and then mask them into videos.
You can even choose specifics such as your shot size, the camera angle, and the camera movement. This demo, for example, was generated with a “Close-up” shot size and a “Top-down” camera angle. I also chose the motion ‘Zoom In’. You can also upload an image or enter a prompt to use as a base for the generation. I said “A smartphone exploding” and this is what the program made.
It’s cool, but I expect that anyone using it will need to create a lot of videos every time they want to include a shot in a project. This takes a great deal of time and money. I was only able generate two videos during the trial period before it asked me to pay. Each video took over a full minute to create and lasted only five seconds.
These prices are actually specials that will last until March 15. After that, the price will increase. The $12.99 monthly option allows you to create 20 videos and has 2,000 generation credit. Each second of video costs 20 credits. However, this is also expected to increase after the introductory offer. If you pay $38.99 a month, you get 70 videos and 7,000 credits. This gives you more room to experiment with AI video creation. You can test the service on the Adobe Firefly siteand read more about the AI tool in Adobe’s press releases.
