The New York Times published a report on Wednesday. These restrictions are part the Trump administration’s efforts to compete with China in AI. The White House announced on Tuesday that it would be limiting China’s access to American technologies and consumers. The Biden administration has strengthened rules to limit more Nvidia AI chip sales in China. DeepSeek has seen its popularity among U.S. AI Developers soar in recent months.
