The U.S. Defense Department called on top Silicon Valley talent in October to take up high-ranking positions within the U.S. Army Reserve. The Wall Street Journal reported that they could be periodically tapped for short term projects like data and cybersecurity.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the first cohort of this program would include Andrew Bosworth, CTO of Meta, and Shyam Sakar, CTO of Palantir (19459039), respectively.
