Samsung’s upcoming XR smart glasses and headset mark a move into the extended-reality space, where Apple’s Vision Pro and Meta’s smart glasses have had only moderate success. Both devices will run Android XR OS – a platform created by Google and Qualcomm – and be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 processor. The headset will be equipped with high-end specs including micro-OLED screens, 90Hz refresh rates, and brightness of up to 1,000 nits.

A confirmed detail about Project Moohan was that it would use the Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 processor, which enables high end capabilities, such as up to 4.3K per eye, 90Hz refreshed rates, and up to 12 simultaneous cameras.

According the Daily Korea, Samsung’s XR headset is expected to feature Micro-OLED displays that have a 3,840 x 3552 resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. The rest of the specs are still a secret.
