Samsung Galaxy S25 could be subject to an unwelcome increase in price

The Galaxy S25 family will be unveiled on January 22. However, the pricing of the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra have been revealed in Europe. We say supposedly as an Italian retailer allegedly uploaded its listings for this trio too early (and has since removed them), but the prices themselves are odd.

Purported Galaxy S25 PricingLet’s have a look. The S25 is allegedly EUR973 for 128GB, EUR1,036 for 256GB, and EUR1,162 for 512GB. Let’s be clear: these are not the recommended retail prices for the Galaxy S25. These numbers end in 49 or99. It’s either EUR949 for the base model, or EUR999.

(Supposed Galaxy S25+ pricing)

It’s unclear if the retailer is just trying to gain online exposure with opportunistic pricing or if there’s something else going on. With 256GB, the price is EUR1,246. With 512GB storage, EUR1,371. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will reportedly cost EUR1,571 for 256GB and EUR1,696 for 512GB. It is also rumored to cost EUR1,948 for 1TB.

(2019008) Alleged Galaxy S25 Ultra pricing (2019009) If we round up all of these prices to the nearest hundred euro, then Europe could be in for a EUR100 increase across the board. These prices could be the result of an Italian’s imagination. At this point, it’s impossible to tell.

For those wondering why the Galaxy S25 Slim wasn’t included, it makes sense because it’s rumored that the device will be released a few months later than the other three.

Via.
