This phone is a kind of thought experiment to see how many components can be squeezed into a thin device. This will be crucial for the development of a folding phone.
There aren’t many details on the upcoming Apple Fold, but Gurman believes that it will be priced at around $2000. He also says that it will take some time for production to ramp up so the availability may be limited at first. If all goes according to plan, the foldable iPhone will be included in the iPhone 18 lineup.
