The K13 Turbo and Turbo Pro are slated to launch as the world’s first Oppo smartphones with an active fan. The latter is now said to have a feature not often seen in handsets with its type of active cooling technology. It might also have some other advantages on the high-performance Android market.

Oppo’s response to the current The K13 Turbo series is the first in their line to feature a spinning fan as a part of its thermal management system.

According to reports, the K13 Turbo Pro will avoid a typical drawback when integrating this technology. The concept has been around since RedMagic first introduced it in the 6S Pro 2021.

Active Cooling often makes mobile devices thicker than usual; even the latest RedMagic 10S Pro measures 8.9 millimeters in depth compared to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra that it closely resembles.

In contrast, the leaker Fixed Focus Digital states that they have found the Turbo Pro to be a conventional 8.3mm thickness. It is also not too heavy at 208g (g), compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 218g.

These obvious advantages (that Oppo has not publicized ahead of the K13 Turbo Series’ launch on July 21, 2025) are allegedly joined with a battery “exceed expectations” that will be in the Pro variant.
