Oppo announces Agentic AI Initiative for Google Cloud Next 2025 (19459000)
Google hosted its three-day Google Cloud Next Conference in Las Vegas where smartphone brand Oppo spoke about its Agentic AI Initiative, and its strategy to lead AI experiences through its in-house development and its collaboration with Google.
Oppo also showcased AI Search during the conference. It’s an AI system-level tool powered by Google Cloud that allows users to efficiently retrieve complex multimodal documents using natural language queries. The brand also highlighted their advancements in AI Productivity and AI Imaging as well as AI Creativity. Jason Liao is the President of Oppo Research Institute.
Oppo said it is also exploring the next phase in Agentic AI experiences. It focuses on creating personalized experiences for users.
Oppo also develops a new system of user knowledge that will serve as an information repository to address the fragmentation problem on mobile devices. It will learn about users’ interests, activities, data and memories to create personalized AI experiences.
