NVIDIA Studio Update supercharges DaVinci Resolve RTX AI Acceleration.

NVIDIA released its latest Studio Driver bringing AI-powered performance improvements to creative applications. Video editors who use Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve beta 19 will see major benefits, especially those using NVIDIA GPUs.

This new driver uses the Tensor Cores in RTX hardware for a suite AI-driven tools inside Resolve. This means faster workflows, more time spent creating and less time waiting for processes or renders to finish.

DaVinci AI Features Accelerated.

IntelliTrack AI. Tracking points for stabilization or audio panning. UltraNR An AI-based denoising feature within the Color page to produce cleaner, higher quality images. Magic Mask AI Use AI-powered masking to isolate objects, people or backgrounds. The software is now up to four times faster on the GeForce 4090 than it was on the Mac M2 Ultra.

Speed Warp AI (19459039) Create smooth slow-motion results through AI frame interpolation.

Relight Add light sources to a captured scene, and adjust the environment with AI assistance. Text Based Editing Transcribing audio automatically, and editing video based on text content. Now faster with RTX Acceleration.

Remixer FX for existing songs Automatically adjust the mood, vocals and drums, bass and guitar tracks.

Separate dialogue from background noise and reverb to create clearer audio tracks.

Beyond DaVinci Resolve, NVIDIA is also enhancing video playback quality for viewers. The RTX Video feature, known for AI upscaling, now also supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) conversion, delivering richer colours and contrast on compatible displays.

For AI developers and advanced users, NVIDIA has also introduced Flux1 NIM. This is an optimized, production-ready AI model microservice that enables rapid text-to-image generation via an API, designed for speed and efficiency.

The practical benefits of RTX acceleration are highlighted by creators like JaeSol LOFT of Garage B14.

“The real-time ray tracing with realistic lighting and shadows, accelerated by my GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, is truly remarkable.”

The new NVIDIA Studio Driver is available now as a free download for owners of compatible NVIDIA RTX GPUs. Accessing these accelerated features requires software like DaVinci Resolve 19 beta and suitable hardware, such as the current GeForce RTX 40 Series or NVIDIA RTX professional GPUs, which are available from Australian retailers.
