Meta

US users and Canadians can now use Meta Live AI, which allows you to ask questions about the environment without having to say “Hey Meta” each time. You can even interrupt it. Live AI, a feature that was previously only available as a beta, lets you chat in natural language with your glasses about your environment. You can ask it to explain things such as missing ingredients for a dish or the best wine pairing. You can start by saying “Hey Meta, start live AI” .

Meta AI will be available in all EU countries that support the product. Starting next week, EU nations will have the visual search feature, which can answer questions about your environment, but unlike Live AI, cannot perform a conversation that is free-flowing and interrupted.

The Instagram integration of the glasses is also expanding. Meta says that you will soon be able to send and receive Instagram DMs and photos, as well as audio and video calls, on your Ray-Bans. The glasses already supported messages and calls through WhatsApp, Messenger, and your phone’s messaging application. You can begin by saying “Hey Meta, send a message to [your recipient’s name] on Instagram.”
