Leta was founded in 2021 by Nick Joshiwho is also the CEO. Leta uses artificial intelligence to optimize routes, automate vehicle loading planning, and reduce fuel usage and operational expenses. The startup’s products are aimed at businesses in the FMCG, ecommerce, distribution and retail sectors. Leta is currently operating in Kenya, Uganda Tanzania and Nigeria, and serves a rapidly growing portfolio of customers who are looking to streamline their logistical processes and improve the performance of last-mile deliveries.

Driving expansion across Africa

Leta will use the newly raised capital to accelerate its expansion into other African markets, enhance AI capabilities, and reinforce partnerships with logistics providers. The startup will also bolster its team, and increase integrations with third party fleet and warehouse management software.
