Huawei released the Pura X in March, a form factor that was once again innovative after the Mate XT. The Pura X has a flip-style folding screen with a 16 to 10 aspect ratio (when unfolded), giving it a tablet-like appearance. It’s the first foldable device of its kind, and we appreciate that companies like Huawei are still looking for creative ways to improve form factors. This is not for everyone. It’s a Huawei, so no Google services. But its form factor may also turn some people away. Huawei’s less-than-stellar chipsets are also a problem.
