Get prepared, folks. Nvidia’s charismatic CEO Jensen Huang will soon return to the stage. (Or screen, if your lucky enough to not be in Taiwan this weekend.) He’s no doubt getting ready to don his trademark jacket to deliver Team Green’s Computex key note address.

How can we expect it? AI will likely be the main focus of the presentation this year, just as it was last year. There is a good chance that the focus on professional use cases, as well a little gaming, will be included. After all, Nvidia does not want us to forget about its roots.

When is the Nvidia Computex keynote for 2024?

Nvidia Computex 2024 keynote starts at 11AM Taipei on May 19. This is 8PM PT/11PM ET on May 18 in the US and 4AM BST on May 19 in Britain (sorry Brits). The event will be held at the Taipei Music Center, Taiwan.

The Nvidia keynote last year was a pre Computex presentation delivered on Sunday evening local time. This made viewing hours more lenient for UK and eastern US viewers.

Nvidia Computex keynote: What to expect

Like last year, AI will be the focus of this keynote. Nvidia has made great strides in commercial and consumer AI since Computex 2020.

The focus will likely be on the professional applications of artificial intelligence. We can expect to hear some big, sweeping initiatives, where AI is helping run public transport systems and predict weather. There will no doubt be more focused examples, such as how AI can help professionals in the scientific and creative industries.

RTX 5000 will also be on display, as the long-awaited RTX 5060 is officially launching on May 19. There will therefore no doubt be a segment of the presentation dedicated exclusively to gaming.
