Geely Auto Group CEO Gan JIayue announced on February 9 at the 2025 Annual Business Conference that the company would release a major AI driven intelligent strategy in early march. Gan said, “Geely is going to be a leader in AI for smart vehicles and deliver revolutionary intelligent experiences to its users.”
According to a press release, 2025 is going to be a pivotal time for Geely Galaxy, with five new models, including two SUVs, and three sedans. Each model is designed to dominate its market segment and achieve strong sales immediately after release.
Geely Galaxy is also committed to innovation in areas like architectural technology, vehicle AI and intelligent driving. The company intends to accelerate the integration and use of cutting-edge AI technology, including AI digital chassis, end-to-end speech models, and advanced autonomous systems.
Geely Auto will leverage the advanced cognitive capabilities of DeepSeekās R1 model in conjunction with its own comprehensive AI system for smart cars to redefine human-machine interactions and intelligent driving. This collaboration aims at driving the widespread adoption AI technology in automotive. Geely will distillation train its Xingrui Vehicle Control FunctionCall model as well as the vehicle’s edge-side active interaction model based on the DeepSeek R1 model.
