This capital injection is aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving technologies and enhancing artificial intelligence research. The funding consortium includes prominent investors such as the Zhongguancun Science City Technology Growth Fund, Beijing Information Industry Development Investment Fund, GAC Group, Guangzhou Guanghua Fund, alongside Didi itself. These resources will be strategically allocated to fast-track the commercialization of autonomous vehicles and strengthen AI-driven advancements within the transportation sector.

Leveraging nearly ten years of expertise in artificial intelligence, large-scale manufacturing, and operational management, Didi Autonomous Driving is dedicated to pioneering responsible innovation. Real-World Testing and Upcoming Demonstrations
Throughout 2025, Didi Autonomous Driving has conducted comprehensive full-scenario trials in Beijing and Guangzhou. The autonomous vehicles demonstrated robust performance under challenging conditions, including peak-hour congestion, nighttime driving, and severe weather such as heavy rain. Building on this progress, Didi is collaborating with GAC Aion to produce next-generation autonomous vehicles equipped with preinstalled L4 systems. These vehicles are slated for delivery by the end of 2025, with planned demonstration projects in both Beijing and Guangzhou to showcase practical applications.
