ChatGPT’s Deep Research now allows you to save your report as a pdf. With ChatGPT Deep Research, the AI agent can do the work independently. ChatGPT uses your prompt to scan the internet and read hundreds of websites in order to create a comprehensive, detailed report.
You can copy a report once it has been generated. However, the ‘copy button’ does not retain the formatting. BleepingComputer discovered that when copying ChatGPT’s deep research report to a Word document, the formatting is distorted. This can be fixed by installing a new version of “Download as PDF.”

We don’t know when the option will be available to everyone. We also don’t have a clue if it will appear on regular queries.
A PDF export option would keep the report’s original layout. It could appear next to the Copy button after a Deep Research Report has been generated.
OpenAI will also be rolling out a GitHub connector for ChatGPT Deep Research for those who have the Teams subscription.
