Agent mode is available for Pro, Plus, and Team users only
Openai is rolling out a new update which transforms ChatGPT to an agentic system that can perform complex tasks.
Tools referred to as “agent mode”are available for Pro, Plus, or Team users. Agent mode allows ChatGPT navigate sites, prompt users for login when necessary, conduct analyses, and deliver editable spreadsheets and slideshows.
ChatGPT will still ask for permission before performing any actions. You can also interrupt ChatGPT at any time, take over or stop its tasks. The agentic feature features a visual web browser that interacts through a graphical interface with the web and a text-based web browser for reasoning-based queries.
OpenAI claims that ChatGPT agentic mode is able to create presentations using dashboards, analyze marketing information, plan vacations and dinner parties, as well as book appointments.
