Now you can connect your Box or Dropbox accounts to Deep Research on ChatGPT to pull data that will be used by AI to conduct research.

Deep Research is an AI agent which automates your research. It will then crawl the web to create a research report. You can also see how Deep Research crawls and summarizes websites in the right sidebar. This will let you know if it is heading in the right directions. Deep Research mainly crawls the internet, but it can also access your cloud storage or PDFs.

These cloud providers join Github and OneDrive which are already integrated into ChatGPT. BleepingComputer has learned that custom apps and services (MCPs) will be able to be connected to ChatGPT in the near future. This could have a dramatic impact on how AI is used in organisations that use multiple internal tools and services.

It’s not clear when ChatGPT will be able to offer full-fledged MCP integration, but we know it’s coming.
