In the third quarter of 2025, Baidu reported total revenues of 31.2 billion RMB, with its core business contributing 24.7 billion RMB. Notably, the company’s artificial intelligence division experienced a remarkable year-over-year increase exceeding 50%, surpassing analysts’ forecasts and underscoring Baidu’s accelerating AI momentum.

Baidu’s AI segment demonstrated significant expansion across multiple fronts:

  • AI Cloud Services: Revenues climbed 33%, driven by a surge in high-performance subscription services, which soared by 128%.
  • AI-Powered Applications: Platforms such as Baidu Library, NetDisk, digital workforce solutions, and GenFlow 3 collectively generated 2.6 billion RMB. Monthly active users (MAU) across these apps are nearing 300 million, with the latest GenFlow 4.0 version boasting over 20 million active users.

Radish Run, Baidu’s autonomous ride-hailing service, continues to scale rapidly. In Q3 alone, it completed 3.1 million rides worldwide, marking a 212% increase year-over-year. October saw the service surpass 25,000 fully driverless orders per week, contributing to a cumulative total of 17 million trips.

Currently operational in 22 cities globally, Radish Run has logged over 140 million kilometers without human intervention. The service recently secured autonomous vehicle licenses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and has expanded into the Swiss market, signaling Baidu’s commitment to international growth in driverless transportation.

AI-Driven Search and User Engagement Milestones

Baidu’s AI-powered search platform continues to dominate the Chinese market, with monthly active users reaching 382 million for three consecutive quarters. The ERNIE Assistant, Baidu’s conversational AI, has seen daily active users multiply fivefold year-over-year, now approaching 10 million daily interactions.

This surge reflects the broader trend of AI integration enhancing user experience and engagement across Baidu’s ecosystem.
