The AYN Odin 3 will now be available in five colors and not four. The manufacturer has chosen to release the phone in the two transparent colors it asked community members to vote on. It will also begin taking pre-orders on September 7.

AYN announced that the Odin 3 would get two more colors, bringing its total to five. Previously, AYN had announced that Android gaming handheld devices would be available in four colors, of which three were already confirmed. The community was supposed to decide the fourth color via a poll.

AYN revealed that the Odin 3 would be available in Clear Blue or Clear Purple in addition to the already confirmed colors of Black, White and Rainbow. AYN did not give a reason why they chose both colors over one, but the poll result shows that the vote was a tie.

Rather than choosing only one color, it decided to include the two, which are both actually cool-looking. It’s possible that AYN had planned to release the Odin 3 with five colors but decided to “involve” its fans in the decision-making.

Clear Blue and Clear Purple will be available for all configurations, except the base model with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. This is only available in black. Pre-orders for the AYN odin 3 are expected to begin on Indiegogo will begin at 9:30 PM CST on September 7.

Odin 3 features a 6.0″ AMOLED screen with a 1080p display and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, just like the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite. It can be paired with up 24GB of RAM or 1TB of storage. The Android 15-powered portable has a cooling system, an 8,000mAh capacity battery with support for 60W rapid charging, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, a MicroSD slot, and a USB C port with DisplayPort.
