Asus urges users to update Armoury Crate due to serious security flaw

Can Armoury Crate work with other brands of hardware?

Armoury Crate was designed to only work with Asus hardware. You can use alternative tools like MSI Center or Gigabyte Control Center or third-party software such as Signal RGB and FanControl for other brands.

What is Asus Armoury Crate for?

Armoury Crate is required if you have an Asus laptop or desktop, motherboard or peripheral, and want to unlock all of its features. It centralizes the control of your system’s lighting, performance, and hardware behavior. On laptops it’s usually required for full fan controls, performance modes (e.g. Turbo/Silent), keyboard lighting, and other features. On desktops, the software is more optional, especially if you’re using third-party tools such as Signal RGB or FanControl. Some features, like BIOS updates and Aura Sync, are only available through Armoury Crate.
