Anthropic adds a new feature to its Claude AI Chatbot that allows you to build AI-powered applicationsdirectly inside the app. The beta upgrade builds on Anthropic’s Artifacts, which was introduced last year and allows you to see and interact with the things you ask Claude for. In a blog post, the company said that you can “start building in the Claude application by enabling this interactive capability” . “Describe what you want to build, and Claude writes the code for it.” It’s similar to vibe coding but you can see the results inside Claude. In a video by Anthropicyou can see someone building a chat application.
Early adopters of the feature built AI-powered games and learning tools, data analytics apps, writing assistants, even agent workflows which “orchestrate Claude calls for complicated tasks,” Claude says. Apps will have the ability to “interact” with Claude via an API.
Anthropic wants people to share their apps, so it encourages that by allowing others to use your API.
