Adobe Photoshop is now available on mobile

Key Takeaways

  • Adobe decided to bring Photoshop to the mobile devices. It is already available on iPhones and will be available for Android devices by the end the year.
  • The new Photoshop Mobile and web plan is priced at $7.99/month or $69.99/annually.
  • All existing paid plans, including the new one, will allow access to Photoshop mobile app.

Adobe’s iconic photo editor, Photoshop, will now be available on mobile, too. It has already been introduced to iPhones and it’s coming to Android later this year.

The app’s web version will also be expanded to provide better precision and control, simplify the editing process, and offer superior flexibility and accessibility to artists who can now access their work and make changes on the go. Pretty much like Google Docs? Impressive.

In addition to this, professional editors can now integrate the new Photoshop app with Adobe Lightroom and Express to create a seamless workflow. It’s worth noting that both Lightroom and Express already have mobile apps for both iPhone and Android.

What’s more, it also opens doors for all the new artists who cannot afford a laptop or a PC at the moment. With Photoshop’s new app, they can continue to hone their skills right from their phone.

The best part, though, is that this is the first time ever that editing software of this level will be available for free for all users. If you want more premium features, however, Adobe has added a new Photoshop Mobile and Web plan. It’s priced at $7.99/month, or $69.99/annually. This includes additional advanced features as well as access to the web.

Apart from that, the current paid plans that used to offer access to Photoshop on iPad and Web (Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox) will now also offer access to its mobile app.

We’re excited to bring the limitless creative possibilities of Photoshop to mobile, making the app’s iconic image editing and design capabilities accessible for everyone – Senior Vice President Ashely still

Photoshop, one of the oldest professional editing softwares. The first version of the software was released in 1990. Since then, it has managed to garner a massive user baseof 33 million users. Its powerful editing and designing tools are a big reason for its popularity. In May 2023, Adobe Firefly was integrated into Photoshop, giving it a AI upgrade. It introduced new features such as Generative Fill which allows you to add new objects onto the canvas by simply requesting it. Generative Expand, which allows you to expand the canvas by adding more objects, was also introduced. Add Techreport into Your Google News Feed.
