HONOR 400 Series launches globally with retail prices starting at RM1899 (19459000)

HONOR launched the new HONOR 400 Series bringing flagship-grade hardware and enhanced durability to mid-range smartphones. The HONOR 400 Series, priced between RM1,899 and RM2,699 is designed to democratize mobile photography, intelligent features, and transform each device into a private photography studio.

The series is available in two models – the HONOR 400, and HONOR 400 PRO – and can be pre-ordered until 29 May 2025. Customers who pre-order HONOR 400 Pro get a complimentary Instax Mini LiPlay, as well as a 1-year warranty worth RM1,097.

Pre-ordering the HONOR 400 will come with a free HONOR CHOICE active noise canceling headphone and an extended warranty worth RM898.

HONOR will also offer a limited-time free storage upgrade. Customers purchasing the 256GB version of the HONOR 400 can receive the 512GB model at no additional cost.

Pre-orders are available through the HONOR website, HONOR Experience stores, Shopee and Lazada and retail partners such as Harvey Norman, Senheng and SenQ. Maxis postpaid users can pre-order both the HONOR 400 Pro and HONOR 400 512GB at RM30/month.

Designed for outstanding camera performance, HONOR 400 Series offers a 200MP Super-Sensing Main Camera equipped with a large 1/1.4″ sensor and OIS+EIS stabilization.

HONOR 400 Pro features a 50MP AI Telephoto Camera, which supports up to 50x Zoom. Both devices feature a 50MP selfie camera with HONOR’s advanced Portrait algorithm.

HONOR IMAGE ENGINE powered by AI supports features such as AI Portrait Snap, Harcourt Portrait 2.0 and AI Enhanced Portrait for the Pro. This delivers studio-level portraiture. The Pro’s AI Super zoom offers a 15x to 50x range while the standard HONOR400 becomes the first smartphone that can deliver 30x telephoto images from its main camera.

Video: The HONOR 400 Series offers AI Image to video, which converts images into 5-second videos using Google Cloud. AI tools for editing photos include HD Moving Photo and Moving Photo Collage. AI Eraser 2.0 is also available, as are AI Reflection Remover, AI Outpainting AI Cutout AI Upscale and AI Face Tune.

The 6,000mAh lithium-carbon battery powers the experience. It is designed for extreme environments, long-term durability and maintains over 80% battery life after four years.

HONOR 400 Pro supports wireless and wired SuperCharge of up to 50W, while the standard model only supports wired charging at 80W. The Pro is rated IP68 or IP69 for water and dirt resistance, while HONOR 400 has an IP65 rating.

The HONOR 400 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the HONOR 400 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and CPU Turbo X Game Engine. This gives the HONOR 400 enhanced gaming capabilities. Both models feature a 1.5K AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000-nit maximum brightness. They also come with advanced eye comfort technologies such as 3840Hz PWM Dimming and Low Blue Light.

These devices also support MagicOS 9 with powerful AI features like AI Summary, AI minutes, AI correction, AI format, and live translation. Google’s Gemini AI Assistant is included for planning and productivity, while Magic Portal 2.0 allows contextual app launch with a simple finger gesture. HONOR has also integrated Deepfake Detection on the device for enhanced digital security.

HONOR 400 Pro in Lunar Grey (12GB+12GB turbo) and Midnight Black is priced at RM2,699 with 24GB RAM (12GB+12GB turbo) and 512GB ROM. The HONOR 400 is available in Desert Gold (with a free upgrade up to 512GB), Tidal Black, and Midnight Black. It costs RM1,899 ($2199 for 512GB native model) and RM2,199 ($1,899 for 256GB with a free upgrade). The nationwide availability will begin on 30 May 2025.
