Microsoft’s Satya Nandella chooses chatbots over Podcasts
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella may not be listening to podcasts anymore, despite his claims.
This tidbit is at the end of a Bloomberg profile of Nadella, which focuses on Microsoft’s AI strategies and its complicated relationship to OpenAI. Nadella explained that he no longer listens to podcasts but instead uploads them to Copilot and then talks to Copilot on his way to work.
Nadella, who joked that he was an “email typer,” also said he relies upon at least 10 agents created in Copilot Studio for tasks such as summarizing emails and messages, preparing for meetings, and performing other tasks around the workplace.
AI is already transforming Microsoft, with programmers reportedly being the hardest hit by the recent layoffs. This was shortly after Nadella announced that 30% of Microsoft’s code had been written by AI.
