Acer Malaysia officially launched its latest business-centric innovation with the launch the TravelMate 14 AI laptop and Vero CB2 monitors. Both are engineered to meet performance, comfort and sustainability needs for modern professionals.
TravelMate 14 AI: Ultralightweight Powerhouse for Business On The Move
Designed to meet the needs of professionals who need portability, performance and enterprise-grade security the new TravelMate 14 AI delivers up 120 TOPS in AI performance on a chassis that weighs less than 1kg. It is topped with an enhanced durability premium carbon fibre cover. The laptop is Military Grade Certified and has a magnesium-aluminum alloy frame for rugged use in dynamic environments.
Equipped to the latest Intel Core Ultra200V series processors with AI acceleration, this laptop supports up 32GB of LPDDR5X memory with speeds up to 8533MT/s to ensure smooth multitasking. The 65Wh battery will provide users with long-lasting productivity, while AI-enhanced Acer PurifiedView or PurifiedVoice features deliver superior video call experiences. QuickPanel allows quick access to camera and mic settings.
Users can choose from a WUXGA touchscreen (1920×1200), or a WQXGA+ display (2880×1800), both of which offer 100% sRGB color accuracy and up to a 400 nits brightness.
On the sustainability front, the device is built using recycled materials and packaged in eco-friendly boxes, earning both EPEAT registration and TCO 10 certification–meeting some of the most stringent global standards for environmentally responsible electronics.
TravelMate Sense simplifies IT management by providing a dedicated key with access to multiple tools. Workflow allows users to create profiles for different modes such as Meeting, Work or Away. Secure Guard enhances security by incorporating USB device filters, file encryption and dynamic screen locking. The Checkup tool monitors device health and provides battery calibration guidance for optimum performance and upkeep.
Both models have Full HD IPS panels with 120Hz refresh rates and 1ms VRB. This provides fluid visuals for long hours of creating content, developing software, or performing general productivity tasks.
Designed with eye health in consideration, the monitors feature Acer VisionCare ™ 2.0. This includes BlueLightShield, Flickerless, and ComfyView, as well as TUV-certified low-blue light panels that reduce eye strain when used for extended periods. Ergonomically, ErgoStand tilt and swivel adjustments, wide viewing angle, and ZeroFrame are all beneficial for multi-monitor configurations.
In keeping with Acer’s ecoconscious Vero brand the CB2 series of monitors are made from 85% post-consumer recyclable plastic, 5% ocean bound plastic and are packaged with 100% recyclable materials. These monitors are also TCO Edge, ENERGY STAR and EPEAT Gold certified, demonstrating Acer’s commitment towards environmental responsibility.
