The Financial Times reported on today. ByteDance (19459137) plans to spend 40 billion yuan on AI chips by 2025. The company is also planning to invest approximately $6,8 billion overseas in order to improve its basic model training capability using NVIDIA AI chips.
A representative from ByteDance responded to this by saying: “The news related to it is not accurate.” ByteDance is committed to the development of artificial intelligence and investing in it, but the rumors regarding budgets and plans related to this are not accurate.
