A wireless adapter that combines Android Auto and CarPlay is a product with obvious utility. But we’ve waited a long time for AAWireless. The original AAWireless is making an unexpected comeback. AAWireless, the original wireless Android Auto Adapter and most advanced as well, is available for purchase at
. The adapter has been testing support for both Android Auto & CarPlay on the same hardware for the past two years in beta but it has never reached the final stage. The sequel device will be released in the near future. AAWireless TwoCarPlay was omitted, and pushed to “AAWireless two+”which has not yet been released.
As we wait for AAWireless Two+ to be released – some users got units early after a very limited launch – the original AAWireless has now been put back on sale.
The original AAWireless can be purchased through Amazon. The current price of is $59.99. This is a few dollars cheaper than the sequel. This is the first time the device has been resurfaced, even though it was discontinued months ago.
The good news for customers is that they can still get Android Auto and CarPlay on one device, even if it’s in beta. This means that there’s no need to wait for a new release. It’s not clear how long the stock will last, so if you are interested, buy it as soon as possible.
