Dell launched its new Pro Max laptops On Thursday, Nvidia unveiled three tiers for its top-performing laptops. They include AMD Ryzen AI, Intel Core Ultra processors and the new Nvidia RTX Pro Blackwell graphics cards.
Dell’s Pro Max laptops, aimed at the enterprise power-users, are among the first laptops to feature this new hardware. They are designed to bring raw power and accelerated AI and graphic capabilities to sleek devices.
Dell’s Pro Max laptop lineup includes three levels of laptops, including the base . TheDell Pro Max is the Dell Pro Max Plus (in both 16-inch and 18-inch versions) and the high-end version Dell Pro Max Premium (). Dell equipped the base models with AMD Ryzen AI 5, 7 or 9 series processors, or Intel Core 5 and 7, while the second and third-tier models were fitted with Intel Core Ultra 7 and 9 chips.

The base Pro Max and Pro Max Plus are not very impressive, with their sleek black clamshells and full-sized keyboards. The Pro Max Premium retains more DNA from the XPS line, with its signature zero-lattice keypad and upward-firing speakers either side of keyboard.
The Pro Max Premium is not exactly light, weighing in at 4.82 lbs and measuring almost an inch thick. The Dell Pro Max 18 Plus is a similar weight, weighing 7.17 pounds. It has a minimalist trackpad that is centered and a recessed keyboard, which looks like the MacBook M3 Pro Max.
The new laptops will help Dell gain market share in the never-ending AI race by securing a use-case that the company has already established itself in: reliable, enterprise-ready machines with powerful hardware.
