Zhand replied with “we will see” when asked if GPT-5 would be another shockwave in the AI industry. He also used a wink-emoji. This seems to indicate that it could be an important update. OpenAI announced ChatGPT Agent ahead of GPT-5 debut. This agent can think and act, choose proactively from a toolbox to complete tasks using its own computer. ChatGPT Agent, while not a brand new model, is not a direct refinement of o3.
